London Metropolitan Police are trying to learn the identity of a seriously ill man who collapsed last Monday. They issued the following appeal today:
Police are appealing for assistance to identify a man who is seriously ill in hospital.
The man collapsed in a shop in High Road, Leytonstone at around 14:00hrs on Monday, 19 June. At the time of his collapse, the man was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and brown slippers.
London Ambulance Service attended and the man was taken to hospital where he remains – he has not regained consciousness and remains in a critical condition.
Tests carried out in hospital have revealed no sign that the man was assaulted.
Officers have been working to identify the man but so far they have not been able to.
