Ringo Starr Supports Brexit, Tells BBC to be in Control of Your Own Country is a Great Move

The BBC interviewed Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, and asked him about Brexit.

“The people voted, and you know, they have to get on with it,” Starr said. “Suddenly it’s like, ‘Oh well, we don’t like that vote.’ What do you mean you don’t like that vote? You had the vote, this is what won, let’s get on with it.”

When asked if he would have voted for Brexit, Starr replied, “I would have voted for Brexit. Yeah, I would have voted to get out. But don’t tell Bob Geldof!”

Starr said he thought Brexit was a great move, to be in control of your own country.
