UKIP Leader Henry Bolton in Adultery Scandal – Faces Calls To Step Down

UKIP leader Henry Bolton, who was elected to lead the party in September, is facing calls to resign after it emerged that he left his wife, Tatiana Smurova, for 29-year-old topless model Jo Marney.

“In fact it is understood Mr Bolton. 54, told the mother of two of his children that their marriage was over on Christmas Eve,” The Sun reported. “Just hours later he went public on Twitter with his blonde model Jo Marney, sharing intimate Boxing Day snaps.”

Smurova is Bolton’s third wife; and his second wife, Lidia Gouniakova, also spoke to the press.

“Henry was seeing Tatiana while we were married and their affair broke our family – he was cheating on me,” Gouniakova told the Daily Mail;. “Still, I feel sorry for Tatiana – I wouldn’t wish an affair on my worst enemy.”

“I am calling for Henry to resign as leader for the good of the party,” ex-leadership candidate Ben Walker said on Sunday. “I have been contacted by party members who are deeply unhappy at these latest events. I believe that membership were misled.”

Henry Bolton is a former British Army officer and police officer who was awarded the OBE in 2013 for services to international security. In the past, he stood as a Liberal Democrat, but joined UKIP in 2014.
